Jeffrey D. Ullman

has more than thirty-five years of concentrated experience handling all facets of complex litigation in the state and federal courts. He has earned a very strong reputation for integrity and legal ability among his colleagues and adversaries alike.

Mr. Ullman is and has been "AV" rated by Martindale Hubbel for more than twenty-five years, and is identified by that organization as "Preeminent," the highest possible third party peer reviewed recognition of legal acumen and ethical standards available in the legal profession. He has appeared as trial and appellate counsel for a diverse clientele in a wide variety of cases covering the broad spectrum of civil and criminal litigation.

Mr. Ullman's principal areas of expertise include commercial litigation, intellectual property disputes, criminal defense and appeals. He has tried numerous civil and criminal cases to conclusion at the trial level, both before the law courts and before administrative agencies, and he has abundant experience arguing appeals before the Appellate Division of the New Jersey Superior Court, the Appellate Division of the New York State Supreme Court, the New York Court of Appeals and the United States Courts of Appeal for the Second, Third and Fourth Circuits, among others.

Education

Mr. Ullman graduated cum laude from Lafayette College in Easton, Pennsylvania, in 1970, and, following a year of post graduate work at the University of Rochester, obtained his law degree from the New York University School of Law in 1974.

Mr. Ullman is a member of the bars of the States of New York and New Jersey, and is admitted to practice in the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, the District of New Jersey, the United States Courts of Appeal for the Second, Third and Fourth Circuits and the United States Supreme Court. He also has been specially admitted to practice on behalf of clients in trials and appeals in state and federal courts in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida and Texas.

Arthur N. Furhman

concentrates in commercial transactions, business organization, tax, wills, trusts and estate planning and administration, and related areas. He has more than thirty years of experience in forming all types of closely held companies and representing those businesses and their owners in sensitive and complex transactions and negotiations.

His commercial clientele includes nationally and internationally engaged businesses in diverse fields, including energy, personnel staffing, automotive, commercial real estate, manufacturing, and marketing representation.

With his tax background, Mr. Furhman has also been substantially involved in estate planning and estate administration, and has structured and implemented numerous plans for estates of various sizes and has also served in an advisory role as counsel to the fiduciaries of numerous estates.

Education

Mr. Furhman received his undergraduate degree in accounting cum laude from Washington and Lee University in 1972. He then graduated from the Fordham University School of Law in 1975 and earned a Master of Laws degree in Taxation from the New York University School of Law in 1979.

Over the years, Art has traveled extensively throughout Europe and China with his wife, attending to all of the related details and preparing his own itineraries. His trips have included dining at many of the great restaurants of the world. Art has become something of a "foodie", and has dined at many of the most highly regarded and interesting restaurants in New York City, where he is also an avid theatergoer.

After being raised in Passaic, New Jersey, Art has resided in Morris County, New Jersey for the last thirty-three years. He has been married for over thirty-five years and is the father of two grown children.

Gary R. Platt

maintains an active practice in real estate law, including development, zoning, planning, condemnation. Mr. Platt is a former assistant prosecutor in Union and Passaic counties. He has been involved in numerous commercial and residential development projects, dealing with varied contractual, zoning and financial issues.

These included the planning and development of a four hundred-plus room luxury hotel and conference center; one million square feet of waterfront office andwarehouse space, including the requisite cleanup and negotiation of tax abatements; one million square feet of office space; and numerous residential subdivisions, among other projects.

Gary has lectured to the staffs of three nationally prominent realty firms on issues of importance to professionals in the field. In addition, Mr. Platt has served as review attorney for a federal savings bank and as the designated preferred closing attorney for various nationally known mortgage companies

Education

Mr. Platt graduated from Lafayette College with an A.B. degree in English in 1970 and received his law degree from the University of Maryland School of Law in 1973.
